Terms and conditions

The Booking
A Diddipix photo shoot must be paid at the time of booking or at the latest at the time of the shoot. This applies to any discounted shoot price as well as full price shoots.
Once the booking has taken place the client must sign the booking form to give their consent and sign that they are in agreement with these terms and conditions.

The Photoshoot
All Diddipix photographers have been CRB checked. You have the right to ask to view the certificates if you so wish.
The photoshoot will take place at the time and place agreed at the time of booking and which is specified on the booking form.
Diddipix photographers will contact the client prior to the shoot to confirm the booking.
If the client wishes to change or cancel the booking time, then Diddipix must be notified at least 24 hours ahead. If less than 24 hours notice is given then Diddipix reserves the right to charge up to 50% of a full shoot price, which is currently £65, for the missed appointment.
If Diddipix photographers arrive at the house of the client and the client is not there to receive them and has not notified Diddipix ahead of time then Diddipix reserves the right to invoice the client for the full shoot price (currently £65.00) to cover time and expenses incurred by the photographer. If the client wishes to book another shoot then a further shoot fee will be incurred.
If the child is ill on the day of the shoot then Diddipix must be notified immediately and a re-shoot may be rescheduled.
The photo shoot takes approximately one hour but may vary if the photographer feels that it is necessary. The client is not charged per hour, purely per session, irrespective about how long it will take.
Diddipix ensures at all times that the child is content and reserves the right to stop or postpone the session if they feel that the child is not responding favourably to being photographed.
Diddipix reserves the right to cancel a shoot if they feel that the child is unwell or that any illness is causing the child to appear unlike he/ she would normally. Diddipix will do their best to advise the client of facial marks like bumps or scratches, however the photographer will not be expected to remove the marks at the time of processing the images. If a client requires larger images or canvas prints then marks may be removed then, but only if the photographer is in agreement with the extent of work which is needed to be carried out.
All special offer vouchers must be presented at the time of the sitting otherwise the offer cannot be validated and the client may be required to pay the full price.
Any special offer vouchers which allow money off may be redeemed at the time of purchasing the items specified. The value will be deducted from the overall total.
Diddipix will set up a return date with the client and the same terms for notice of change of venue or date apply as above.

The Viewing/ Return
The client has no obligation to buy any photographs or products if they do not wish. 
There is a minimum order of £100 of photographic products; this does not include the price of the shoot.
Diddipix graphic design team are responsible for the layout of the multi images and do their best to ensure that the finished article is composed in the best possible way. The client will have been asked to choose a layout which they particularly liked at the time of the sitting. The client has the right to make any changes to the prints which are presented at the time of the return visit.
Any photographic changes i.e. Changing photos within the framework will be charged at: £10 for up to 4 changes. £20 for 5 or more changes, £30 for a layout change.

The Photographs
All Multi-images shown as examples at the time of the shoot will have been mounted on block board for practicality. All photographic products ordered will be printed on photographic papers unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.
The paper and inks used are professional archival museum quality and will not fade through normal use.
The photographs should be hung behind glass and away from direct sunlight for this archival longevity to be enjoyed.
The canvas images are printed on Artists grade archival canvas and stretched over redwood frames. In order for the archival qualitites to be enjoyed, the images should be hung out of direct sunlight. Diddipix cannot be held resposible for any fading or discolouring if these guidlines are not adhered to.
The copyright free photographs on disc may be purchased if the client wishes at a cost of £95. This can only be bought once the client’s photographic order has reached £250. (This does not include the price of the photo shoot.) The client is free to duplicate the photos on the disc in whatever format they wish for their own personal use. Diddipix still own the copyright of these photographs.

Payment
Currently there is no VAT to pay on Diddipix items.
Upon deciding on the products and photographs to purchase, the client must make the payment at the time of the return visit. Payment can be made through a secure credit card system or by bankers draft, cash or cheque.

Cheques should be made payable to ‘Diddipix’and sent to:
‘Diddipix, The Old Corn Store, Station Road, Stalbridge, Dorset. DT10 2RG’ with the order.
Any charges incurred by Diddipix, through a rejected or unacceptable cheque for example, must be settled immediately by the client.
Processing of orders will not commence until payment has cleared into the Diddipix account.
Payments which are overdue will be reminded by an invoice sent by post. The payment must be made within 14 days of the date on the invoice otherwise Diddipix reserves the right to levy a £10 late payment charge for every month thereafter the payment in not met.

Postage
Diddipix will pay for all postage on photographs and products within the UK.
All photographs, including Multi-images will either be delivered by hand, at the arranged return visit or by post.
All products ordered will be sent by post or courier.
Diddipix will not be held responsible for postal delays, however Diddipix will replace any items which have been proven lost in transit.
All postal items will have a proof of postage and will require a signature from the recipient. If an item appears damaged at the time of receipt then the client must sign ‘received damaged’ in the presence of the courier or postal worker.

Returns
By purchasing photographs and products at the time of the return visit, the client is making an agreement to accept those products and cannot return them to Diddipix thereafter.
Any item which is sent by post and arrives damaged must be returned to Diddipix within 7 days of receipt. Diddipix will analyse the damage and send a replacement item, however, Diddipix reserves the right to assess whether the damage was due to the post and will only offer a refund if they feel that it is justified.
Should any queries arise regarding colour, scratches or blemishes on a product, it must be returned immediately (within 7 days of receipt) in its original packaging. Diddipix will assess the item and do its best to recify the problem. If the problem lies with a printing error then the client will receive a new photograph.
Only faulty, damaged or products with a printing error may be returned.
